Harbor View Presbyterian Church (HVPC) is a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA), reformed in tradition yet always reforming as we aim to connect and care for our community and God’s world.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. (Acts 2:42) We are the Church! Called to worship, learn, fellowship, and act together for God! At Harbor View we worship together, both in worship services, but also through our work in the community and our fellowship with other believers. You will find those at Harbor View to be a true community focused on one another and seeking God’s will together.
For you are a people holy to the LORD your God; The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the earth to be his people, his treasured possession (Deuteronomy 7:6). Because we are chosen people, we celebrate life together through fellowship and learning more about what it means to live a faithful life. We encourage people to get to truly know one another as God’s treasured possession and to treat all of humanity as such.
As Stewards of God’s Grace serve one another with whatever gift you have (1 Peter 4:10) Because of this we reach out into our community and minister to and with those who are hurting, broken, weighed down, or struggling with the issues of the world. We attempt to be missional in all we do as a church, focused on our role as the light of the world and the salt of the earth. We aim to be a welcoming church, an active church, a loving church, and a committed church. We want you to feel part of this community. You belong! You belong to God and we hope you find yourself at home at HVPC!
