Here at Harbor View we believe that it is important for all of us to participate in Christian growth and nurture. Our call to be disciples is one built around growing and developing our faith, through worship, through study, through relationships, and through action. With that in mind we attempt to integrate our Christian Education program with our church life as a whole.

We invite everyone to join us in our pursuit of active faithfulness. Here is a little more information about some of the ways you can participate!
Adult Discipleship –
We offer lots of opportunities for learning and connecting here at Harbor View, some of these opportunities include:
Sunday Morning Discipleship Classes
Adult Weekday Studies (of scripture, spiritual disciplines, and faith issues)
Our Creative Faith Series – Events aimed at the artist in all of us
Guest Speakers and Presbytery Events
Presbyterian Women (monthly circles and yearly retreat)
Men’s Breakfast (informal monthly discussion over food)
Children’s Discipleship – We have a number of ways where we help children in their discipleship journey, these include Sunday morning classes, worship opportunities, special mile marker celebrations and much more.
Youth Discipleship – Likewise we believe that during children’s tween and teen years they truly begin to form their own ideas about faith and how it applies to their lives. For this reason we have a youth program which meets weekly with a number of special events as well as a confirmation class to help these youth as they seek out answers for themselves.
Outreach and Member Care – We are not being disciples if we only can speak about what we believe. Our faith is proven out in our actions. For that reason we believe that a truly missional focus is essential if we are to be the church. We have many opportunities to get involved in our community, both here at HVPC and in the larger communities of Charleston, South Carolina, the PC(USA), and the World.
